Unfuckingbelievable. I’ve been trying to fix this for a couple weeks now. I was even sniffing the wire to see where the rdp protocol was breaking. Never considered it might be the video driver shitting the bed. Updated to the latest drivers and all is well. Thanks.

This has been a PLAGUED problem for me .. I am downloading the new drivers now and if this fixes it I will be EXTREMELY HAPPY as well as pissed that NVIDIA broke my RDP.

Cards are 2 8800 GTS BFG Versions.

I had same issue with SP3 with GeForce 6200 version 175.xx. I swithed to 169.xx and it worked. Then I updated to 190.xx and works good now. I am able to do remote access to my PC. Thank you so much.

Thank you! I had the same problem. Fixed it by updating the nvidia driver to te latest version (186.18)

Thanks! Was going crazy but this put me on a trail to a solution. Looks like a Microsoft ATi driver for a Radeon 2400 does the same thing. Upgraded to the latest ATI driver, problem fixed!
